If you are in pain due to a cracked, broken or decayed tooth, let Health Centered Dentistry provide you relief today.
What Are Dental Crowns Made From?
There are many reasons why a crown may be helpful, and they are not just functional. The material used to make the crown is customized just for you. It will look so much like a natural tooth; no one will know the difference. If a crown is right for you the doctors at Health Centered Dentistry will make sure you know exactly what the process entails and will answer any and all questions or concerns about the procedure.
Do I Need A Dental Crown Procedure?
If you think you may be a candidate for a crown, come in and see us. We will do a routine dental exam that may include x-rays to make sure a crown will work for you. We will then take an impression (mold) of the tooth and sent to the lab where your final crown will be created. While your final crown is being created you may wear a temporary crown in order to protect your tooth before final placement.
If CEREC same day crowns are a viable option, the process is similar but does not require a mold be sent to a dental lab. The doctors can do it all in-office with the CEREC machine. Instead of a clay-like substance the doctors can take impressions digitally. Then rather than send the information off to a lab, they can make the perfectly fitting crown right there in the office. The process is more convenient while maintaining the highest quality of care. You can walk out of your appointment with a permanent porcelain crown in one appointment and get back to living your life.
What Are Dental Crowns Used For?
