Platelet Rich Fibrin Therapy, or PRF Dental Therapy, is a holistic treatment that uses your blood to create a bioactive “band-aid.” This therapy has been shown to promote quicker healing following a surgical procedure and can greatly improve results when used in conjunction with common other oral surgery procedures. 

How Platelet Rich Fibrin Therapy Works:  

Blood Draw: First your dentist will draw blood from your body and place it in vials. 

Centrifuge Separation: These vials are then placed in the centrifuge which will separate the necessary proteins used to create the PRF matrix. 

Shaping: Once we’ve separated these proteins, the matrix can be formed into various shapes, such as a collagen-like plug for an extraction site or flat membranes for gum grafts.
