Caren Jillian U. Jaramillo

RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist

With over 12 years of experience in dental hygiene, Jillian Jaramillo brings an empathetic, whole-body approach to every patient she sees. A graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage with a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Jillian’s journey into dentistry began as an act of bold individuality—choosing a path different from her family of aspiring nurse practitioners. What started as a rebellious choice quickly became a passion for helping others through oral health.

Jillian believes in meeting patients where they are—listening, learning, and working as a team to build sustainable, personalized care plans. She strives to look beyond just teeth and gums, taking into account factors like gut health, sleep, and diet, which can all influence oral well-being. Her compassionate, holistic approach has made her a trusted and beloved part of the Health Centered Dentistry family for over a decade.

What Jillian loves most about HCD is the genuine sense of community—leadership that cares, coworkers who feel like family, and a workplace culture where joy and support are part of the daily routine.

Originally from the Philippines, Jillian has also lived in England and Japan, bringing a worldly perspective and warmth to every patient interaction. She thrives in the peace and quiet of Alaska’s natural beauty, where she enjoys working out with her family, going on walks with her dog, and attending Sunday Mass.
