Dental Implant Services

Dental implants have become a popular solution for missing teeth for patients of Health Centered Dentistry. A dental implant is a titanium tooth root substitute that is implanted into the jawbone. The secure attachment of the implant makes this option for tooth replacement attractive for those who don’t want a removable partial.

The American Academy of Implant Dentistry states: “69% of Americans age 35-44 have at least one missing tooth, and one in four over the age of 74 have lost ALL their natural teeth.”

Dental implants have a laundry list of benefits:

  • They fill holes in the smile, helping people smile with confidence again
  • If well done, implants can last longer than other tooth replacement options
  • Implants stay put! There is no need to remove them for cleaning
  • Implants assist in the regrowth of the supporting bone structure
  • Implants can help patients regain their speech
  • Implants are not susceptible to decay

Dental implants look and feel more like your natural teeth as they are independently secured to the jawbone. There is no need to worry about slipping or that the prosthetic will slide or fall out at an inopportune moment. Dental implants are a solution you can be confident in.

We can’t wait to have you in for a consultation. We will discuss the details of treatment and if your anatomy can sustain an implant. We usually require 2 surgical visits to place the implant. We will surgically place the root implant into the jaw during the first visit. Over the next months the implant will fuse to the bone. We will then bring you back for the attaching of the tooth above the gum.

If same day services are an option, we can place the implant and the fabricated tooth the same day. The same day implant procedure requires careful consideration by you and your doctors, and is not a fit for every case.

Dental implants are an amazing option if you want to restore a natural looking and feeling smile. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the process. Schedule your free consultation today!
