Dr. Kent Marchant

DMD

General Dentist | Implant & Esthetic Focus

Dr. Kent Marchant is a skilled general dentist with a passion for esthetics, implants, and patient-centered care. He earned his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and began his dental journey in 2005 as an assistant before officially practicing in 2013. He has completed advanced training through the Marshall Hanson Method Residency, DentalXP Implant Residency (accredited through NYU), and the WhiteCap Institute, and is a proud member of the AGD, AACD, ADA, and ADS.

Kent’s interest in dentistry was sparked as a teen by his love of craftsmanship and small tools—a passion he shared with his father, a high school shop teacher. After seeing the intricate instruments at his orthodontist’s office, he decided dentistry was the perfect blend of art, science, and hands-on skill.

While he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Marchant is especially drawn to periodontics and fixed prosthetics. His approach to care is calm, compassionate, and esthetically focused, and he’s known for providing gentle, high-quality treatment. He also offers holistic services including ozone therapy, SMART mercury removal, zirconia implants, and biomimetic techniques.

At Health Centered Dentistry, Dr. Marchant values the exceptional care provided to patients and the collaborative, supportive team environment. “I love what I do and who I work with,” he says. “That makes all the difference.”

Outside the office, Kent enjoys Alaska’s mountains, wildlife, and summers with his wife and kids. He spends weekends hiking, fishing, hunting, or attending wrestling tournaments. He’s a lifelong learner who loves teaching and coaching, and if he weren’t a dentist, he would have become a mechanical engineer.

He doesn’t drink coffee or tea, but he’s a big fan of steak, Napoleon Dynamite, The Office, and 3 Amigos. His dream destination is the Cook Islands, where his father served as a missionary—he hopes to visit one day. When asked who he’d share a meal with from history, he chose Jesus Christ, reflecting his strong faith and belief that “serving others is serving God.”

Fun Fact: He graduated with just 65 classmates in his high school class.
