Dr. Amanda Waddle

DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Amanda Waddle brings a thoughtful blend of science, artistry, and human connection to her work in dentistry. A graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry, she was drawn to the field by its unique combination of independence, hands-on care, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships. With a background in dental research and co-authorship on a dental textbook, she is continually seeking ways to deepen her knowledge and enhance patient care. She’s also a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).

Since beginning her practice in September 2022, Dr. Waddle has focused on creating a team-based experience where patients are actively involved in their care. She prioritizes communication and education, always taking the time to walk through diagnoses and options visually so patients feel confident and empowered in their treatment plans. From ozone therapy to PRF and safe amalgam removal, Dr. Waddle’s clinical approach aligns with Health Centered Dentistry’s holistic values—without losing sight of what matters most: meaningful patient connection.

Dr. Waddle especially values working in an environment where she can slow down and genuinely connect with patients—”not just being a tooth mechanic,” as she says, but having real conversations that build trust and comfort.

Outside the office, you might find Amanda enjoying family time outdoors, tap dancing, or exploring local favorites like Bear Tooth and Chickadee. Alaska is more than just a home to her—it’s a place that never stops feeling special. And while most patients might not guess it, she used to be fluent in French and once considered a career in architecture.

Fun Fact: She tap dances and used to speak fluent French!

Favorite Local Haunts: For food—Serrano’s or Bear Tooth. For nature—the Coastal Trail. For cozy drinks—Chickadee.

Go-To Weekend: Family time, outdoor hangs, and cooking something delicious.

Most Influential Mentors: Her classmates, Dr. Marchant (her own dentist before she became one), and Dr. Henrie, all of whom helped shape her into the confident, caring dentist she is today.
